In this episode which pre-dated the pandemic, we talked to Dr Fouad Fouad, an Associate Professor of Public Health Practice at the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Co-Director of the Refugee Health Program at the American University of Beirut Global Health Institute. The conversation addressed the brain-drain in Syria, focusing on medical professionals, as well as the impact on the health and well-being of the Syrian population. Dr Fouad provides his insight, an in-depth analysis, and some proposed solutions.
