Some in the Arab World call him Abou Ali Putin! A made-up story even claims that his father Jasem Abou-teen emigrated to the USSR from Iraq where he use to sell figs (teen in Arabic), married a Russian lady, and had a boy named Abdulamir Abou-teen, who later changed his name to Vladimir Putin -😉
While this is of course a bunch of B.S, it behooves us to know more about this influential man. In this episode, you will hear about Putin’s early life, career, and ascent to the highest office in Russia.
